Plenty of good coordinators out there who aren’t fit for bein the man, though.

He’ll be obnoxious, you can bet on that.

He had a pretty good record at Nebraska. They have gotten far worse since his firing. No his pr skills left a lot to be desired.

It will be entertaining to see eaux and beaux butt heads on the sideline.

Pelini was actually a pretty good head coach at Nebraska. He never had fewer then 9 wins in a season. Not sure his personality was right for a major program head coach but his results were pretty solid.

Pelini bumped heads with the AD at Nebraska and was not the politically correct type. His record at Nebraska was not bad at all. Hopefully being a DC will cut into his time on a podium. That is the Shrimp Boat Captain’s job.

As the spread gets more popular in the SEC, it will be interesting to see how Pelini adjusts. Texas fans should watch closely as Ash and Pelini are from the same coaching tree and run quite similar systems.

The 4-3 they run isn't a great spread stopping scheme without elite defensive talent all over the place.

Yup thankfully LSU is loaded on the back end, and some awesome DL talent coming in [emoji1377]

No one really runs a 4-3 anymore, or a 3-4. It's all hybridized versions, and all the nickel and dime required these days.
