Love that place, been driving by it for many years while fishing at POC.

I went down for standby in January of 19 which was one of the first hunts along with 50 of my best friends for 2 standby spots.

Well we made it a whole 20 minutes into the hunt. She spotted him bedded down right at 100 yards. He stood up and she dropped him right where he stood. Needless to say she was a little excited!

Sure did. We saw a stud Sambar on the initial drive into the unit but we jumped him. Congrats bigharge! I’ve heard several shots within an hour of making it to our unit.

Finally got him caped and in the cooler. Grabbing some more ice then going to sneak back in for the evening hunt. Been 4 sambar and 1 wt doe checked in so far
