I created an account just ask you fellas about a lake Grapevine hunting problem.

I was finally so lucky to get a whitetail permit from the Corp and I’m excited to get to hunt some local deer.

On Monday morning of Labor Day weekend I parked in the 377 and Bobcat lot and went for a scouting walk.

Around 8:30am I heard a car alarm going off and made may way back to lot to find that my vehicle window had been smashed by a thief. Same thing happened to a blue Tahoe that was parked nearby. The local police took a report and expressed their sympathy.

Here is my question for the regulars. Is this a common problem, a “known issue” or and I just unlucky that this happened?

There was nothing of value in the vehicle to steal, but I’m out nearly $400 getting everything repaired.

Sorry to hear that. I have parked there numerous times without incident. That really sucks though because now I may have to reconsider.
