    what does the texas folks use for there go to steak knife ? looking to buy a good set... jdh in AZ

    Wusthof makes a great kitchen knife set and steak knives for a reasonable price.

              X3 for Wusthof. Shun is another excellent brand but they are fairly pricy.

                Any ol cheap steak knife will cut a nice tender steak and it'll taste the same. Then again, if your one to take pictures of your food prior to ingestion then I guess you better upgrade!

                        Been looking for a set of non serrated as well. I got a decent knife block set, but the serrated steak knives that came with it are awful.

                            Wusthof makes a good one and bass pro had them really cheap a while ago. For non serated look into shun but those will cost you.

                              For a great non-serrated knife, look at Laguiole. I have a set of their steak knives and they are fantastic knives with a neat history.
