Memphis/Graceland during Christmas!!!

Cool. American Civil Rights Museum is a must! She’s old enough to get it. Beale Street will be fine during the day. Bass Pro is awesome. Memphis Zoo is the best I’ve ever been to! Fried chicken there is not what you are used to here. Memphis Pizza Cafe was awesome. Overton Square area is good. We’ve been to Memphis twice and loved it.

Get a car or drive it so you have one. The country side is beautiful around there. Lots of history there too. Look at the Peabody as well.

I may rent a car. Think I can get one for $175 for a week.

Always a fun time. Drive to west Memphis and try and find someone who speaks understandable English! ... kinda like where’s Waldo. Armpit of the south for sure

Peabody Hotel to see the ducks march in , it’s actually very entertaining and a cool place to get out of the heat and to have a drink in the bar area.

Graceland, The Peabody Hotel, Bass Pro in the Pyramid, Beale St., the location of MLK assassination, Mud Island Museum if it’s still open. There are casinos a short drive south in Mississippi. They also have river boat tours with dinner that I haven’t tried yet.

But like others have said, be careful. It is a rough city and especially around the tourist attractions. If it becomes too uncomfortable, you can go over to Germantown and it becomes pretty nice.

If you’re staying at graceland be back before dark... it is in a terrible area!!

Following. We're passing through in late July but will have camper. The thought of stopping at BPS with truck and camper and then taking an Uber to Beale street and Graceland has crossed my mind.
