Here at the house outside of Caldwell. Fawns are being seen daily. Not as many twins as last year though.

Counting the twins here we’re up to 4 fawns hanging around the house.

What do y'all think the fawn crop will look like in McCulloch county? We were out there a couple weeks ago and there is no cover for anything to hide in out there.. I don't think there will be many survive between the drought and predators

If you are in the hay business you can't get three cuttings, or wait till July to bale rye grass.... I have been seeing them in my thermal at night in my hay meadow, and hope they are big enough to get out of the way.

I have found 2 that have died in the last 3 days close to my water station in McLennan County. Still have the 2 others coming into the feed in the back yard also.

Game cam photo from a day or two ago. I forget just how small they are when born.

Im worried about the lack of cover on our place- seeing more fat coyotes than fawns this year

I've seen 3 in Young County. Smoked a yote out cruising pasture, I'm sure he was looking for easy dinner.
