Great thread so far Steve!! Yes, one of the things I love about the Injun bow stuff is there's always something to shoot at... I always keep at least one arra, most times 2 for opportunity targets like dillers, coons, possums and stuff... Heck a practice shot walkin at an old rotten stump at unknown range is good...

Stalk went about as planned... been in my truck for almost 2hrs waiting on the wind to do what the weather man said it would. Headed in now.

I'm settled in for the evening. I'm on the side of a series of ridges and the corner of a field. South of me is some property Insure wish I had access to. It's where my 3 target bucks live. I have a spot I'd much rather hunt but there just isn't a good tree for a climber. I'll make the call tonight if it needs a lock on or not. It's the kind of warm that feels like it'll get cold when the sun goes down and there's the perfect amount of wind in the right direction for me. It does swirl in here a little because of all the ridges but we'll just have to run it.

Pretty slow start this evening... I'm totally ok with only seeing 1 deer as long as it's one of my shooters! Beautiful evening even if they are over sleeping a little.
