          Never trust a taxidermist time frame lol... from my experience though, I would rather wait 15 months as opposed to 6 on most occasions.

Most all taxidermist set the eyes as the benchmark on the deer, meaning the form is plumb and level when the eyes are set. So with that being said, if you make sure the eyes are level when you hang the mount it will look better on the wall. Most people try and get the brisket level, but that just throws everything off because most forms are not square across the bottom.

                                Again, not taking anything away from the mount or the deer, just a tip in case you were not aware. Oh, and it could just be my OCD acting up again. Crooked pictures and mounts make me twitch funny.
