Franklins is the best I have had. That said I refuse to wait in a line that long for BBQ.

Beef Rib- Louie Muellers
Brisket- Tie between Franklin, La BBQ, Muellers, Guess BBQ
Sausage- Probably Tie between Southside and Kreuz for me.

So many people making great bbq now a days. Hard to try them all.

I have noticed the trend lately seems to be how greasy a brisket can be. Guys saving drippings and soaking or pouring them over brisket repeatedly, injecting and slathering with butter. Had a few lately so gooey and salty I couldn't eat it. And these are all high ranked in TM.

Louie Muellers and Stiles Switch...Franklin's is good but too many good joints around central texas to wait in line that long

Funny you would say this, I think Killeen's is why overrated as do most people I know and Inman's was the worst barbeque I have ever had in my life. I actually took a few bites and threw it away. It could've been a bad day but it was horrible.

Bob's Barbeque in Henderson Tx was the best but it's not like it was in the original shack and the original Bob. I haven't found any as good since.
