Some of the ones like Cholula or the chipotle versions with smoke, chili powder, etc. give a different flavor profile.

But Tabasco, Red Gold, Louisiana Hot Sauce, Frank’s……
Texas Pete has the best flavor. Hotter Texas Pete is legit.

Texas Pete is my favorite. Don’t like the wing sauce though.

PSA: don’t coat 2/3 of a ritz cracker with the scorpion sauce and pop it in your mouth.

My 92-year-old mother carries a bottle of Tabasco in her purse at all times.
I was actually born in New Iberia and lived on Avery Island. I remember my eyes burning as a child..
          Lesto!!

On a side note, I planted a scorpion pepper plant as a novelty. Dang thing is taking off and putting on peppers. Not even sure what I will do with them.

I'm a Texas Pete guy though.

Why would anyone want to destroy all their taste buds?
Stuff like that with 300,000 Scoville units would kill some people.
Might as well drink nitric acid.

The plant in Avery Island near New Iberia actually makes Tobasco Ice Cream and its actually pretty good.

I wish HEB would carry more of the tobasco flavors. There are several that you have to order or pickup local when i go back home to visit family. There is more tobasco flavored stuff in the gift shop than i can count. Pepper jellies, seafood boil, ice cream, soda, you name it.

My go to is the Habenero flavor.
