It’s that time of year again!
A full year of planning, researching, practicing, scouting, phone calls & texts, all unfolds tomorrow evening around 2:00 as our first 2019 Kansas hunt goes in to play.
I’ve been sitting out in Jal New Mexico for 2 weeks counting down the sunsets, impatiently waiting on tomorrow. I have no fingernails left and my thumbs have blisters from keeping up with everyone else’s live hunts.
I’ll get on a plane in Midland at 8:00 AM to fly to Tulsa via DFW. My little brother Kade is picking me up with a truck and trailer loaded down with all of our gear and we’ll head to Unit 11. This will be Kade’s first time to ever hunt Kansas. He will be in pursuit of his first P&Y buck.
We’ll be primarily hunting public land and 100 acres of private land we scored while scouting in October.
We should be hitting it just right as per the weather with a cold front setting in tomorrow night.
I’ll keep it live as possible with lots of pics and updates.
Stay tuned!!!
