We had a great hunt in Brookshire. 7 man limit in a couple hours

Day 1
We had 11 for 4 in Garwood. Slow on our little pond on this place. Only 1 bird got out. For some reason the last few years the birds just don't work this pond like they used too. we used to take turns shooting. Lots of shooting around us,but birds all high when over this place. The group on my big flat had a 4 man limit. LOTS of good reports from Anahuac, Brookshire & Garwood.
Tomorrow is a new day!

It sure is, many places will magically have birds after the first day or two of shooting.

I’m convinced flyways have changed.

All my guys in Anahuac/Winnie had absolute blowouts with limits by 7:30

Day 2
Great time again in Garwood. Hunted my bigger flat today. 4 of us had limits today. Not as much shooting on prairie this AM. Good amount of birds working, but mostly pairs & singles. Only had a couple of bunches & they were 4 or 5 birds. Yesterday we had almost all drakes. Today more hens or young of year birds. Already pumped to head out again in the morning!
