He started the station and has been there for 25+ years. He will be missed by me. I sure enjoyed listening to him 3:00-7:00

happy for the old gray wolf. Sounds like he is completely at piece with it, and he can enjoy a new phase of life.

Also, thinking they move Jake into his spot. That will be a good mixup, as he will challenge Corby and Danny, and bring some real sports talk back to that show, which has been missing outside of Mike's insight during baseball season.

Gen X Dave Lane is too much even for The Ticket. It would be greatness. But Davey will always be relegated to the occasional Saturday morning and fill in shows. What would be true greatness would be if the station would get rid of Corby and put Gordon and Davey, The Rant, on afternoon drive.

Not in one million years (Corbyism) will that happen.

A good one for sure. P1 from the beginning of The Ticket and missed it like crazy for 13 years when we lived in Austin from ‘99 to ‘12. Started listening again when we moved back to the metro mess. He and Greggo were still the best.

He will be missed. I listened to the ticket back in the early days then off and on thought the years. I have listed all day everyday over the last year. I only catch the first hour or two of the hard line but I catch his opening spill daily. Always turn up the volume for it.
