I haven't had them work on a Yamaha but had good service with them in the past. Prikyl marine in Waco was fantastic but I think they only work on Mercury/Johnson not Yamaha.

Xpress is a much nicer boat. Xpress is top of the line aluminum, G3 is middle and at the bottom you have Tracker. There is a big difference in build quality, I had a G3 it was nice but no Xpress....
