OP.. if you go the rebarrel route - the muzzle end needs to measure .600Ē to be able to thread 1/2x28 and have a shoulder for your muzzle device to seat against.

I picked up the Ruger American in 17hmr. Itís a hammer, extremely accurate with 17g Hornady V-Max. I cut it down to 16Ē and threaded it for my DeadAir Mask. Absolutely love it.
