It’s also a .556 issue. Tons of pressure in that round. I have found that all my .556 guns blast me more with gas than my other calibers. I too suffer from the lefty syndrome.

.308 is hands down one of the best all around, easy shooting calibers. Both calibers are fun to shoot. I own several configurations of each.

Bumping this thread back up. This thread encouraged me to take my Thompson Encore pistol that I’ve had since college. Put a sharp bros grip on it, added a folding stock to it and threaded the barrel....
