It's an absolute PITA to replace the motor, FYI. You have to remove the entire bottom plate to access it.

+1 on the vinegar addition to reduce your spray solution's pH.

Give it time. Gly can take 10+ days to show full effect. Drought conditions can reduce effectiveness as well.
