Andre, I’ve been using powder coat with the few cast bullets I do use, I planted on getting either coated or GC bullets. I am a newb when it comes to cast thanks for the info!

Main reason I’d like to go with cast is price, I’ll be able to load 2-3:1 those xtps are a big spendy, and hard to come by.

I’ve shot a fair amount of hard cast powder coated 300blk and 458 socom all subsonic velocity without issue yet. Key word yet.. I saved the emails from them just in case

Leading the suppressor is a bit of a concern but silencerco said that as long as your not pushing soft alloys hard they should be fine. They also told me to do a mag dump every now and then to cook...

Anyone have experience with 300 plus grain pills out of the 44 mag? I’m looking to push some heave cast pills around 1000fps from a suppressed contender SBR.
GT bullets has some 305gr cast...
