Just adjusted the big wool puff on my Kota 62” D-shaped longbow and the noise dampening was amazing. Speed was quick as well. Guess material is not as critical as measurement in the equation.

So just moved the big wool puff on my Kota 62” D-shaped longbow and the noise dampening is great. It doesn’t seem to matter as much the material, but paracord is very good.

Final adjustment of SS to 18.3% (10.248”) for 56” string. Extremely quiet and quite quick. My 660-700 grain arrows are moving out nicely.

Cool Paracord String Silencers

Try four 2” pieces of paracord sheath, pull out the white threads. Install just like wool and shoot. Wool puff @45-47 grains and 4 PC 13.3 grains, works well and sheds water better. Gain a smidge...
