Annual Whooping Crane boat tour

I agree with this. I was invested in a brand that went totally the other way from DSLRs and after a while parts weren't available for the equipment I had. Totally mirrorless now with Sony.

These will give you the equivalent of 525mm. New they are $1800 combined however. You might be able to find them on sale or used. I have used mine to take in flight shots of birds a number of times....

knighttime, you likely saw a grouse in the panhandle as these birds are limited to the SE Texas coastal prairies and only a very small portion anymore.

It's been mentioned but I'll say again. A feeder doesn't stop the migration. I don't take any of the hummingbird plants in.


They are active now. I've had upward of 40-50 around feeders so far....
