You need to see if the shaft is spinning or not. could be stuck shaft and lube should work. Could also be loose set screw in feeder plate.

Had my left medial meniscus removed in 1972. No such thing as arthroscopic surgery back then. Dr made me walk the next day. About 4 months til back to normal.
