One more thought is the turbo, how does it sound. Check the connections to make sure there are no leaks. Usually when a turbo hoes bad or gets a leak it is a loud son of a gun.

Anyone one can shoot a gun, it takes a lot of practice to run a gun. I use the term running a gun to mean you can operate the gun by muscle memory and don't have to fumble with the controls.
