Eastbound and down...

Leaving the desert and headed to Pipe Creek to El Rancho Pequeno( the in-laws 15 acres) to try to stick some deer. Plenty of deer, several Axis, and a few turkeys have been on the camera. And this guy stroller through when my ranch foreman(FIL) was there.



Hope I have a few pictures of dead things to show to everyone over the next few days! Ready for a breakfast taco and arrow slinging.

Got to crank up the mower after this morning’s sit. Grass is taller than the deer. Had the biggest buck we’ve got on camera at the feeder for 10 minutes this morning and no shot.

Need to change the feeder timer too. It spun about 30 minutes before I could see, so most everything had cleared out by good shooting light.

Have a friend that lives in Pipe Creek. There's a pretty solid population of Axis if you're close to water.

Killed a doe last Thanksgiving. Had a bunch on camera until they ran out of alfalfa.
