Our landowner said we got a little over 1/2" of rain over the weekend.

About bringing dogs to MX, I understand it is two dogs per man. I always carry current shot records but have never been asked to produce them.

I will never forget I was bringing a pitbul puppy across. I had trained the dog to lie down on the floor in the back seat of my truck. I got the red light. This dog was a puppy and had a gentile disposition but looked like he would eat your hand off. I remember thinking this might go bad. The guy went to open the console compartment between the seats. He looked at the dog the dog looked at him. And nothing... He continued to search my truck and I was off. His name is Che (after the Cuban revolutionary). I later gave the dog to a good home.

PS. Still waiting for my cowboy to text me the rain report.

My buddy Carlos Villarreal from Mexico put together a great book called Venados Mexicanos he traveled all over Mexico and Texas photographing and getting stories for the book. This is a hard cover book color inside with great quality pictures. Over 100 native Mexico bucks are featured in the book. Stories are in both English/Spanish. I have 200 of these books here in Texas if anyone would like to order one. shoot me a PM or email freddy@elwebman.com Thanks

Me and Gregg got my new spots set up at the ranch over the weekend. Ranch is looking really good and the Cowboys said there was a good chance of rain coming. Thanks to Gregg for going and helping me get ready. I'm loving mexico already and haven't even got to the hunting yet.

BillyloMexico 03-16-2015 09:48 PM

Looking good!!

TLM1972 03-16-2015 10:37 PM

I came across this photo from this past season. I had posted another shot of this buck back in December but it was really a poor photo. This one shows the deer off much better. He scored 172" but had a 5" drop tine broke and a couple of inches of his beam was broken off. This photo shows how good he really is. That G-2 on his left side was almost 14".
