window unit air conditioner question

What is a good window unit to cool the living room of a single wide mobile home? It is less than 400 sql.

I honestly dont know what model ours is, but we have a Kenmore elite and it runs great . Just buy one a size bigger than you think you need.

That is all I run, window units. I'm currently using two: one is a 28,000btu and one is a 10,000. The 10K I have in a small bedroom. But it is enough to cool more than that. Have used it to cool the house at times so I don't run the big one. The key word being cool, as it dosen't get it cold, just cooler. The big one will cool the whole house 1,400sf. And down to 63 degrees in the main room during August . For 400sf, I'd get one of 10,000-15,000. Never hurts to have a little more than recommended. Also depends on how cool you want it. LG makes some pretty good ones. Just my advise.
