Looks to be bison,the bone was split and the marrow extracted cool finds.

Armadillophil, next time you dig that overhang bag up some charcoal. That can be carbon dated to see how old everything is. Now that I think about it, the bone material may be able to be dated also. It's very cool to see the bone. Not something you see every day.

I assume this is a trade pipe, but can the pattern be identified as to how old and its origin? Found it while shooting carp on some shallow flats back in May. Tried to find the other half of the bowl but couldn't. Lots of nice points in the area as well, but doubtful from the same period.

I've posted this pic before but these are just a few of my favorite surface finds from Aguilares, Texas. My uncle found this this really cool rock that was turned into a snake head on the ranch, I'll have to get a pic of it but do any of y'all know what the purpose of it might be?
