Sweet rig, but the bolt’s on the wrong side.

I’m guessing with scope and all, right at 7lb. Looks like a nice mountain hunter.

Total weight- rifle, rings, scope (no bipod or ammo)

                    7lbs 5.8oz

Dropping to a VX5 or 6HD would get it right at 7 or below but I'm really excited to test out this Mark5HD--

Now to wait a few more weeks and see if I drew a Utah muley tag!

Dangit. I went back and forth between 7.6 and 7.8. Heck of a mountain rifle there!

                        Dang that's nice.

I'd like to hear the weight from you.

I'm building a similar rifle on the group build.

I built on the SA and I’m assuming you went XM or long? I think your finished weight will be close to mine depending on the stock choice. That proof hunter is 19oz, which is crazy light and the forearm is still plenty rigid for loading up a bipod.

I loaded up some rounds at 2.95” coal and the longer 175/180 class do sit a ways back but they chamber fine so I’ll just have to see what the velocity is. Starting with 4831sc.

Sweet rig. Should be similar to the 2021 TBH build. I'm waiting on a 20" 7mm 08 in that one
