    Food Shortages

I guess some people wish they had learned to fish and hunt in their younger days.

Food shortages are continuing in 2022 and are being reported nationwide. They impact produce, meat, cereal, canned goods and more as inflation rises.

I'm having a problem getting steel I use to make knives, that not only feeds us but pays all my bills. I'm a fulltime knife maker.

While we aren't running out of food as a country, we are seeing huge supply chain impacts in the food industry. A lot of it has to do with supplies and packaging, then drivers and labor to process.

Most facilities are running 30-35% absentee rate so you can imagine how that is going and the sad part is that the people who are working are getting run into the ground by to try and keep up for those that are out or don't want to work.

It’s awfully tempting to go get one more deer this weekend.

I’ve got them running around in my backyard though, so....

We can't compete with the government paying people not to work.

Those in charge should be hung.

Just wait !!!! Ain’t seen nothing yet

                      Fertilizer is now $1000 a ton… and generic gly (round up) that’s always been $30-$40 for 2.5 gallons… $120-140!!!

So when they plant all that corn and beans get ready for a 400% mark up from now.
My feed today was $16.83 cwt and I get 2 truck loads a week
