I am glad to hear it. One of the more logical things I have seen from the Government in awhile. I wish they would apply some of this logic to other programs that are being taken advantage of.

Seems fair on the surface! My son has been living with me for almost 9 years, finally got a court date for April and I am sure that’s not going to happen now. So I owe back child support on a child I directly support.

You’ll get it back and then some when you prove your case, also the divorce is civil but there is a criminal offense in violating a court order or it can be contempt of court. Or so it used to be, but many DA’s refuse to accept these cases and the signing judges are too lenient in these deliberate cases.
