Sheesh... just open a can of kidney beans and warm them in a separate pan. Then she can add as many beans to her chili as her heart’s content.

A strong marriage is about finding middle ground.

However, if she is being unreasonable about it, add the beans. Then play “covered wagon” at bed time, she will think twice next time about requesting beans in her chili
