Enchanted Rock Antlerless Spike 11/9 -11/12

Got lucky and drew for Enchanted Rock 11/9/2021- 11/12/2021 for Antlerless/ Spike. I have hiked there before but never been on a hunt there. I will be looking to fill the freezer on this one. Anyone else going? The threads I have read are real positive from last year. Hope we do as well as they did.

We will probably stay in an RV Park about 15 miles away.

I just got hold of Oxford Campgrounds, and got the details. Looks like I may be staying there also. They got the basics I need. Said I could rent an RV space for my tent if I want Electric.


I've got a topper on the back of my x-cab truck if weather gets really bad.

Camp is set. Met MntMike and his buddy. Waiting on a little 12v tire air inflator to air up my mattress. Forgot my mattress inflator [emoji849]. This thing is taking forever!

The fish are biting, and there's hogs to be kill-t. Gotta go!

As the coyotes make a last plea for company, the crescent moon has set. And once again, I'm reminded by our creator just how many stars are in the sky.

Good luck Gentlemen!! I'll be watching for pics! I was near there this past weekend-the bucks were camping our feeders-not for corn, just waiting for the does to show up then they would get up and trot on the downwind side! The rut is in full swing in the hill country!!
