Need some id help. Found this one the other day in McMullen county. Thinking maybe an earlier triangular but I honestly have no idea. What y'all think?

Copper...If those are authentic, there is quite an inheritance there.....maybe a retirement. Just curious how he came to own these. I see you are in Midland so the area is right for Folsom. Were they finds or purchases. If finds, This is a World class assemblage with several points worth from 30,000 to 100,000 bucks.

It looks like labels on the glass so I hope that's record of where they were found.

My dad bought these about 30yrs ago from a old man who dug a ranch in
Ozona TX..He was digging for some university and from the story i got these are some of the points he kinda kept to himself and yes they are dated with info..he got a bunch of archaic type points to just wanted to share the paleos...i can get some close ups of the points and you can tell me what you think real or fake..

I will see if I can get some pics out of the case and of the other side. My stepfather's dad spent years collecting arrowheads and has a pretty good collection. I was looking through the cases and that immediately caught my eye.

Beautiful collection. From the pics so far they look fake because they are all so perfect. Not saying they are but they just appear that way a first sight. Can't wait to see more pics. Those are some beautiful arrowheads.

they might be.. loading pics now stay tuned..alot of them still have dirt in the chiped areas not saying much

Awesome points Cooper... Without actually holding them and looking at them under magnification it would be hard to tell if they are authentic. I do see what looks like a lot of fresh hinges and some of the flutes/flaking look weird but could be the pictures. Some look 100% dead on, also!!! I would have them papered. If all real your Father is looking at 100s of thousands.

Tortuga is the triangle, abasolo are the teardrop and lerma are the ones that are pointed on both ends where you really can't tell the tip from the base. The diamond shaped one might be a desmuke or a modified abasolo.

The coolest thing to me about finding items like arrowheads ect is that there were like minded hunters such as ourselves...who put them there way back when.

Copper, if those are indeed authentic, that just might be the most impressive and valuable collection of paleo points found anywhere outside of a museum!
