Navajo Nation buying all Remington assets?

Remington filed bankruptcy again and now the Navajo Nation is looking to buy them through a bankruptcy sale. I understand that a bankruptcy sale would release Remington from any liabilities or lawsuits. The article came from the Wall Street Journal so I do not know how true any of this is. It is interesting that the Navajo would but a firearms company.
