      It wouldn't surprise me with all of the feral hogs we have. Lots of game mean lots of predators.

        Certainly looks like another deer to me. The other deer don't appear to be an any real hurry either. Looks more like a loafing run than a run for their life type run. I have no doubt that there are big cats in ETX, but this picture is not proof. lol

                    If it was a pic of a black panther, I might believe it. But, no regular old brown panthers are ever reported in E Texas!

                      Definitely another doe. Clearly it does not have a long tail such as a cat would have. Just a poor quality photo.....

                            No way in Hades does a cat get that close to a group of deer in an open pasture. Not happening.
