Hill Country 9 Age

I definitely think this guy is mature, just not sure how mature. I was thinking he was a 4.5 year old last year but he has me puzzled. Thoughts? 1st pics are this year. Then the ones below are last year when he was an 8. I see this deer almost every hunt and he is by far the most dominant deer.

He looks to be at least 5 this year

Looks 5+ this year. Easily looks 4+ last year...there ain't a 3 year old in McCulloch County with a neck like that. Should have shot him last year.

Kinda what I was thinking. Last year was our 1st year on this place so we weren’t wanting to shoot a whole lot. I also thought with this guy hanging around so much it would be a good chance to watch what a basic hill country 8 does with some age.
