don't know what he would score but he looks mature to me , roman nose and a sag in the brisket . I would have let a arrow loose on him . but im no expert on aging one so maby some outhers will give a more accurate set of numbers for him.

How Would U ever Call him Old when We don't even Know What Month The Picture was Taken? What Is Old to Some Of You? We Kill Old Deer Every Yr and They Look It regardless of Time of Picture. I see a Deer That Could be Getting Mature Possibly But, No Old By Any Means. Good Pass and Good Luck on Him Blowing Up Next Season;)b

And Don't Get Caught up in the going Down Group;)

JeffK 01-11-2019 10:56 AM

Yep, I would still expect that deer to put better horns on next year.

We've killed a 190 that wasn't That big at 4/5. Guessing on Deer With No History is Very Dangerous. Big Deer are few and Far Between. Shooting him on a Down Yr could Cost you a Deer of a Life time. Once you Get a Deer to that Age Why Take Him out as a Management Deer when He Could still have a Chance to Pop. We See Deer Go up and Down Every Year. I have a 170 from last yr that scores in the 140s this yr. I See regardless of the Rain, Drought, or if he's a Protein hog. You Could Be Right Or Wrong. The Problem is once you Kill Him you'll never Know.

The OP Seems Very Excited So Why not Just Wish Him luck;)b

drogers6771 01-15-2019 08:44 AM

At least 6 and about 120. Needs an arrow

220swift 01-15-2019 05:54 PM

For what it’s worth, I showed the pix to a deer breeder friend of mine. He has years experience aging whitetail deer.

He said 7 1/2....
