Back and belly can be useful tools when aging deer but are the last two things on the list for me. Brisket, knees, neck and head will be much more accurate features. Deer are like people... there are many old men that have never had a pot belly. And I’m 28 and would have to be lost in the woods for 6 months to fit into a pair of 34” britches.

OP, I think the deer is 5 and would be a great candidate for one of the kiddos!
