The Wife and I were in Clearwater FL last weekend on a house hunting trip. I came away with a couple of images.
This Cattle Egret was in the hotel parking lot. I got within 6 to 8 feet and snapped this one. I think as we zoom through life we ignore common sights and can lose track of the beauty of a simple bird. Great "Adult Alternate" plumage on this one. I liked the partial shadow since it prevented the white from blowing out the picture:

There were Osprey everwhere but I couldn't get position on one, plus the long glass was left at home.
