Pelican Case Alternative

Are there any cheaper alternatives to a Pelican case. Not really looking to spend $100 on another camera case. I would like some extra protection for traveling and summer activites around water. Any thoughts appreciated.

Is it worth taking a chance on anything less than a pelican when water is around?

have you looked at storm cases. dont know how much cheaper than pelican but just as good.

I have a Pelican but if you are around water and want a case that is waterproof in a backpack form, look at the Lowepro Dryzone series. I have the Dryzone 200 and really like it for when I am out in the harsh elements, water and dust. I can fit 2 bodies, 3 lenses, flash and all accessories. It is a pretty cool backpack but not conducive for everyday use. I rarely use my Pelican anymore because it is a pain to carry around.
