Cool shot. My kids won't let me leave the beach until I've got them a ziploc bag full. I always have my best luck on the second cut right where the waves are breaking.

we caught most of them 2-5ft deep in the water on malaquite beach (might need correction on spelling)

you kinda just sit or lay against the ocean floor and wave your hands against the sand until you feel a hard sandpaper like surface. grab 'em and put them in a bucket.
