Great photo! We were in Jackson around the same time frame. We were all over the place from Teton Village back through town and all the way through Teton Park, didn't see a single big game animal. I was pretty surprised. Didn't make it on any hikes so that probably explains most of the reasoning but I still expected the wildlife to be out and about more.

Plenty of waterfowl around while we were there though.

Awesome picture!
They were reintroduced in the Taylor basin in the Gunnison NF when I was living and guiding there. They’re flourishing no, 30 years later. Such an amazing critter.
