This evening was a bust. Very little movement and what deer did show were very skittish and kept running off. Thought pigs were the culprit but none were seen

Buddy was at his ranch about 10 miles up the road and they had a slow evening as well.

Gonna try again in the morning, maybe it will show a little more traffic

Well….didn’t happen this morning. Had 3 nanny does from 16-18 yards but thought they would come closer so passed on the shot. one did get to 14 yards and I was starting to draw back, but she turned facing me and a few min later she spooked and they took off.

These deer are wound up so tight I’m hesitant to take a 18 yard shot for fear they would jump the string.

Good decisions lead to better outcomes most of the time. Still mornings it's tough drawing on animals. Multiple sets of eyes don't help. Waiting on close will pay off. Stay patient.

I don't know what has these animals so wound up but I've never seen the does this on edge.

literally one of them farts and they all jump.

it has been very still here which is uncommon, normally we have a decent breeze from the South east.

I feel ok with passing, its early in the season and no reason to loose an arrow if I'm not confident in the shot. 18 yards on a 3D target I can make all day...but with the way these deer were acting I thought it best to wait.

These calm mornings are definitely making it hard to draw on them. Never thought I’d be wanting the wind blow here on the coast.

At least you are seeing animals, my deer and pigs went ghost on 9/28, haven't seen any on camera since then except pigs at 11pm-12:15
