Perfect timing for a Shoulder injury.

2 weeks before opening day and I come up lame. Can't raise my arm under my own power. I fell off a step stool working on my F250 and landed on my left shoulder. Can't even button my pants. I'm afraid to go to the bathroom because I don't think I'll be able to wipe.

Dang Jay, I hate to hear that.

If you need help with anything here and there while you're down, you have my number. Feel free to use it as needed and I'll see what I can do.

Except for the wiping thing of course.

I’m sure glad you cleaned that up at the end Frank.

I'm looking at having my 5th shoulder surgery but I've been getting shots to hold it off until after deer season.

Hate to hear that for you Jay. Maybe that aerospace engineering mind of yours can come up with something where you can still hunt. Like Maybe a sideways bow or something?

The fish are biting and there's hogs to be kill-t. Gotta go!

Man...I'm in a similar boat. Hurt my shoulder putting a roof on a porch a little over a week ago. I over reached, no fall so am a little hopeful it will heal. Yours sounds worse. My plan is to take it extremely easy, then try to shoot my bow the week before the opener. If I can't I'm on the bench and the wife gets 1st crack at my target buck.

Not yet. Just letting the wife yell at me for a few days before I decide to go. That's usually is all it takes.

It is getting better a little at a time. I'm able to button my pants now. Its amazing what you find out you can't do with out a working shoulder.
