Ancient Culls/Management Deer

I was going back through some old photos yesterday evening trying to identify a deer I'm seeing on camera this year when I saw some pics of old cull deer that I was never able to catch up to. A couple of these deer I know are 10+ years old from years and years and pics I had of them. All these deer I'd imagine lived out their life and died of old age because we never killed them. Let's see those pics of culls and management deer that were way overhill and to smart to catch up to.

Really old bucks are so cool. I gave let a few die of old age. Some intentionally abd some because we couldn't kill them.

We've had this crazy old buck around for years. Call him Medusa. I've let him go. He was probably 6 or 7, 6 years ago when we first picked the place up.

I love old timers like this. we have a couple we are chasing (or hope to chase). I am hoping to get pics of them to confirm they are still alive.

Fishndude posted a TC pic one time of what looked to be the oldest deer I believe I have ever seen. Don't know how to find it.

Subbed to this thread. I LOVE nasty old ancient bucks. I've got some pretty good ones on my laptop from the past places we've hunted. tbgascorer, thanks for posting up those threads! Seeing pics of an identifiable deer for that many consecutive years will make you question everything you know about aging deer! lol

Couple from last year that both were 9. First pic confirmed 9 with history and was taken down last season. 9 yo, questionable 10 is about all we can get to on our place.

This deer is known as the mystery buck. We pretty much only bowhunt & could have killed him with a gun but he always has a way of avoiding the arrow. Been chasing him for years. He’s gone down considerably & will be 13 this year
