Anyone on the GS shoot APA Bows? I was looking at the King Cobra and Black Mamba's and wanted to see if anyone has any experience with them.

Wow! Some pretty cool tech. I’d want to shoot one. I ended up with a Prime Inline 5 after shooting bows

I've had a Pit Viper, which I regret selling, and still have a Sidewinder He2. Actually shot my biggest archery buck with it last year after selling my Mathews Triax. APA makes great bows and their customer service is second to none. I bet you will love any APA you go with.

I shot one about 10 years ago. The quality seemed OK but man, the draw cycle was worse than my PSE Omen.

I took a really hard look at them back in 2010. Cause I had dropped my poundage down due a left shoulder injury. And wanted some speed still. There was a dealer in Grandbury that had a group that hunted lopes for the most part. And shots were usually around 70-90 yards. They all practiced together. I just couldn't make things work where I could go demo a bow. Plus, they were all shooting 70lbs. I was doing good to shoot 60lbs. I wound up settling on a 2010 Elite Judge. Plenty fast for anything! Got two in the stable now. Elite only made the Judge one year. And they made them with Barnsdale limbs, which was top of the line at the time. My limbs on both bows are still flawless. IBO is a true 343-347 as advertised. I IBOed mine and ran a crono test. Checked out correct for 62lbs @ 28" with a 310gr arra, less the peep and kisser button.

Looked at them several years ago, but like someone said, their draw cycle was not fun!
