This is a deer I call splitter. He’s a 4.5 yr old that I have some history of.

After you posted yours, don't think I will post mine. Nice deer.

If he’s only 4 1/2 he’s gonna BLOW UP in a few more years for sure.

If they don’t meet Antler Restrictions they are safe……outside of that there is always a chance they may get taken out.

He’s nothing like what some of Y’all have but this was him last year. No pics yet this season. Had him at what I was pretty sure as a true 3 year old last season, mainly because I have pics that back that up two years prior.

If the previous years were any indicator of how our deer jump from 3-4 years of age he should look nice this year if he’s still around. But I’ll pass him this year also, gonna let him at-least make 5 years. (Hopefully) regardless, won’t be me that shoots him.

All the deer on my place this year are getting a pass except one buck that broke off a antler last year that won’t grow back.

I may pass on him too if the mood strikes me to.

Hogs however are always on the hit list and I’m good with that.

Here’s a different one. We have 3 “blue taggers” left from a stocking in 2012. They are all 12-14 yrs old now. They get a forever pass.

Looks really healthy for that age.
