RV Campsite With Good water frontage 2-3 hrs from Georgetown

Looking for a new camping site. Want waterfront. Since most of the lakes are down, looking for maybe cold rivers. New B, San Marcos, Wimberly or that direction. Not ankle deep water, swim water etc.. Also want campsite to have frontage, not 200 yard walk etc..

    Any suggestions?

        New Braunfels:
        - Landa Rv and camping (in town on the comal)
        - camp Hueco springs
-KL ranch camp on the river
        -river road camp
        -lazy L&L

Those are the ones that have campsites with frontage. There’s several others that have frontage but don’t have sites with frontage.

Only ones I’ve stayed at are the first and last on that list.

The first is in town but tucked away in a little pocket secluded from the city but it’s walking distance to downtown with all the bars and restaurants. (Comal river)

L&L is out of town up by the lake but really big and spread out. Probably a mile of river frontage and most of it is campsites. (Guadalupe river) realize water up there is cold, cold enough to hold rainbow trout year round.

Landa RV no longer allows RVs on the bottom level next to the river. You have to camp on the upper level unless you're in a tent.

There are RV parks at both Stillhouse Hollow and Belton Lake.

I am not a fan of Huaco Springs RV spots. Stacked on top of each other on concrete with not a lot of shade.

Depending on how you get there hour 45 to two hours to either Rocky Creek Park or Yegua Creek Park, both COEs on the south side of Lake Somerville. Water still ok.
