When we built we did not finish out our upstairs but are now. One thing we did do was run the copper tubing and electrical for an upstairs unit. What would a 1.5 or 2 ton unit run to have installed to cool and heat two rooms?

The company that installed my downstairs unit has given me a bid of $8,957.00 and I already have the copper and ele. run outside for them. I ask about a mini split and he said the copper I have wouldn't work and they would have to run it down the wall out side and that just doesn't look good to me.
