The last one is what we called a Bee Martin when I was a kid. Lots of them up in Fannin County back then.

Very nice. I see a difference in this one and your first thread.

Yes, but the Auto ISO is still not cooperating. Posted the Blue Jay to show you. I used the smaller meter spot, not sure what to do other than manually set ISO.

I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be seeing on the Bluejay photo. I would crop it a lot more.

It's noisy. I can't crop it anymore. The Auto ISO was at the highest of the range limit when it shouldn't have been over 400. The jay was in the shade, and the camera was picking up the background more than the bird.

Strange, I'm on a 32" high resolution computer monitor and don't see the noise. If you have no more room to crop, getting closer is the only solution.

I worked on it quite a bit. What focus area do you use for birds in flight? I was zoomed in too close and failed to catch the hawk taking off. So that may just be me learning the camera.

I primarily use wide on BIF, higher keeper rate for me. You have to learn to anticipate which way they will go and many times they do the opposite.
