    Novice Road Building Question

I have built a 450 ft X 10 ft crushed concrete road on my property with circle drive. Its solid and handles 18 wheelers wet. We just finished the house and move in tomorrow. Red dirt every where so I feel like adding another 3 inch layer. Currently 6 inches of crushed concrete base. I built it all from end dump piles. Grab a bucket, pour, blade it over a stretch, and repeat. If I get a belly dump down the center how do you spread that? Trying to save hours on my tractor and I assume belly dump is more efficient?

Belly dumps are nice to have on a long stretch if you have a blade to run through it. I have spread 1000's of loads with a blade and thats the easiest way. It can be done with a box blade as well but going to take some time.

I just had a belly dump on a road going to one of my pastures in about 4 spots, Mr Williams is correct box blade takes longer, had better success turning loader on tractor down and using like a blade%
